Get to Know Me Better

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I cannot believe how fortunate I am to work with such a wonderful team of colleagues who are all focused on delivering the highest quality, personalized service to our clients. I look forward to getting to know each of our clients better, growing and developing our team, and carrying the best of our brand into our local communities.

What do you love most about being part of river wealth advisors?

Upholding the trust our clients place in our firm drives everything I do. It is an honor we all cherish, and one that constantly challenges us to be better. I am grateful to work alongside incredibly talented and passionate people, promote distinctive ways to help our clients reach their life goals, and give back to our communities.

What are your favorite hobbies?

In addition to what I listed above, I also love traveling and entertaining.

what is your favorite book?

I have overflowing bookcases of my favorite books, from beach reads to the Great Books. My favorite experience with a book was reading “The Iliad” in my first semester in my Master’s program, which was in the early 1990s. We explored the meaning of “honor,” and you can’t get more real than hearing perspectives on honor in war from immigrants from Iran, Iraq, and officers from the Naval Academy on this topic.

what was your first job?

My first unpaid job was to pick up pine cones in my grandmother’s yard in Virginia (there were always more to pick up every day!). My first paid job was when I was a junior in high school working for a local photographer, helping her with her administrative needs.

what are your bucket list vacation spots?

Costa Rica, Greece, Italy, and back to Paris at least one more time.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Treat others as you want to be treated.
